TNT Science Contest 2015

Introduction

We are excited to announce a new science competition for TNT in 2016! This will be an exhibition event at the regional TNT at Trevecca. Current high-school juniors and seniors are invited to submit entries using the contest website at http://physics.trevecca.edu/TNT. Each submission will receive a score and feedback from the judging team. One winner from each district will be selected to compete at the regional TNT at Trevecca in the fall of 2016. During the regional event, students will prepare posters and present their projects in person to the TNU science faculty. Thanks to a generous contribution, the first place entry will receive up to a $10,000 TNU scholarship ($2,500 per year for four years). Trevecca will also offer scholarships to the second and third place winners.

The competition is designed so that students who participate in a science fair can enter their project in the TNT contest. Please see the rules tab to the left for important guidelines and requirements regarding human subjects, hazardous substances, and vertebrate animals. The initial electronic submission should include an abstract, project report, and a picture or PDF of the project poster. Students selected for the regional event can bring their poster to TNT@TNU or submit a PDF which can be printed on Trevecca's large format printer.
